Iran summons Ukrainian envoy for expressing joy over Isfahan attack
This is the result of Podolyak's reaction on Twitter on Sunday, expressing joy by saying: “Ukraine did warn you.”
The Ukrainian envoy has been summoned by Iran’s Foreign Ministry over controversial comments made by Mykhailo Podolyak, the senior advisor to Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, regarding the recent drone attack in the city of Isfahan.
On Sunday, the Iranian Defense Ministry announced in a statement that a drone attack on a military facility in Isfahan was intercepted by the air defense units. It was intended to attack one of the ongoing military workshops by using Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs).
Two other MAVs exploded after being caught in traps set by the system, with the ministry pointing out that the unsuccessful attack failed due to the preparedness of the defense system stationed in the region.
No casualties were reported, and only minor damage was caused to the roof of the facility. Normal functions and operations continue as usual.
"Israel" to pay the price
Podolyak's controversial remarks were made in a tweet on Sunday, as he seemingly expressed joy over the attack, saying “Ukraine did warn you.”
War logic is inexorable & murderous. It bills the authors & accomplices strictly.

Panic in RF - endless mobilization, missile defense in Moscow, trenches 1000 km away, bomb shelters preparation.
Explosive night in Iran - drone & missile production, oil refineries.
🇺🇦 did warn you
The Wall Street Journal reported that “Israel carried out the drone attack on an Iranian military center for research and development midnight Saturday" and by citing unidentified US officials, it continued that the attack targeted “what some sources said was Material and Energy Laboratory of Isfahan with ‘small drones’.”
Iranian senior political analyst Mohammad Marandi said on Sunday that "Israel" will pay the price for its failed attempt of conducting a drone operation in the central city of Isfahan earlier today.
In a post on Twitter, Marandi said "Not a good week for the apartheid regime either at home or abroad. However, even though Netanyahu and his western-backed terrorist allies in northern Iraq have failed, there will be consequences. They both need to learn that punishment comes with failure too."
Earlier today, some Iranian media outlets took Podolyak's tweet to be a message signifying Ukrainian involvement in the attack.
An advisor to Zelensky appears to imply that Ukraine was involved in the shambolic Israeli regime drone attack in Isfahan.

Does Zelensky really want to experience the destructive power of Iranian drones, missiles, and other weapons?
He will definitely regret such stupidity. https://t.co/gveBCVGxY3
