Iran supports territorial integrity of all nations in region: Raisi
Iran hopes that the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan will create and strengthen peace, security, and calm in the region.
The territorial integrity of all nations in the region is supported by Tehran, the Iranian President stated during a meeting with the visiting Armenian Foreign Minister.
Ararat Mirzoyan, the visiting Foreign Minister of Armenia, along with his delegation, was welcomed by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi for a meeting on Monday in Tehran.
Raisi stressed the importance of regional disputes being settled by countries of the region themselves, warning that foreign interference only complicates the issues.
"Supporting the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Iran hopes that these talks will create and strengthen peace, security, and tranquility in the region as much as possible," he added.

The President emphasized that Iran respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all the nations in the region and reiterated that Iran does not tolerate any geopolitical changes or the shifting of the borders of the neighboring countries.
The Iranian President highlighted the significance of raising the degree of ties between the two nations as much as possible while also stating that Iran sees no barriers to the growth of ties with Armenia.
For his part, Ararat Mirzoyan appreciated Iran's positions in terms of the developments in the Caucasus region.
"Armenia will never become a platform for anti-Iranian actions and always emphasizes the expansion of regional security and peace," he said.
The Armenian Minister stressed the importance of expanding diplomatic ties between Armenia and Iran and how crucial those ties were to his nation.
