Iran to be held accountable for any escalations in Middle East: IOF
The spokesperson for the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) stated that the IOF are on "high alert", and are prepared to hold Iran accountable for any actions that may "escalate the situation in the Middle East."
"Iran will be held accountable if it chooses to escalate the war in the Middle East," Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) said on Saturday.
Hagari added that the IOF is ready for all potential scenarios and will take necessary measures to "safeguard the Israeli people."
This comes as Iran is expected to retaliate to "Israel's" bombing of its consulate in Syria, assassinating IRGC Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the head of Iranian advisors in Lebanon and Syria
Hagari said that "Israel" is "on high alert" and is prepared to respond to Iranian attacks, adding, "The Israel Defense Forces is prepared for all scenarios and will take the necessary steps — together with our allies — to protect the people of Israel."
Earlier today, the IRGC's Navy seizing an "Israel"-linked vessel near the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.
Footage from the operation showed IRGC Navy members rappelling down onto a stack of containers on the vessel's deck. The vessel in question is the Portuguese-flagged MSC Aries, a container ship linked to London-based Zodiac Maritime, owned by Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer's Zodiac Group.
Iran's IRNA News Agency said the MSC Aries is being transferred to Iran's territorial waters.
