Iranian FM accuses US of complicity in Israeli crimes
In a recent telephone conversation with his Omani counterpart, the Iranian Foreign Minister engages in discussions on approaches aimed at putting an end to Israeli aggression in Gaza.
Iran's Foreign Minister placed the blame on the United States for supporting the Israeli genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza.
During a phone call with his Omani counterpart, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed strategies to assist the Palestinian people and bring an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
The top Iranian official asserted that the US government bears international responsibility for steadfastly supporting "Israel's" crimes and genocide in Gaza.
He also commended the routine meetings and communication between Iranian and Omani officials, emphasizing that the agreements endorsed by the Iranian President and the Sultan of Oman are progressing as planned.
In response, Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi underscored the importance of strengthening the fraternal relations between the two neighboring nations.
He emphasized the importance of the international community taking decisive steps to secure a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza and provide essential humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian population in the blockaded enclave.
Haniyeh to Amir-Abdollahian: Resistance firm on battlefield
The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, stated during a meeting with Amir-Abdollahian in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday, that the IOF's aerial, naval, and ground attacks in Gaza are unprecedented, but the Palestinian Resistance stands "firm on the battlefield."
"The Zionist regime and its allies thought that they could eliminate the resistance this way and force it to raise the white flag," he noted, adding, "The resistance, however, has still stood firm and steadfast on the battlefield and inflicted heavy damage on the Zionist regime after 75 days of Israeli crimes and mass murders as part of its scorched-earth policy."
Haniyeh hailed Palestine for its resilience while paying a price for doing so, but it continues to resist even though "Israel's" genocide intensifies.
During the meeting, Haniyeh thanked Amir-Abdollahian for keeping up with the developments in Gaza, as the Iranian diplomat has already made four visits to Qatar since the beginning of the war in October.
