Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where a joint press conference was held at the Rafic Hariri International Airport including members of the Hamas movement, Amal movement, and Hezbollah.

During the conference, Amir-Abdollahian offered his condolences to the martyrs in occupied Palestine and Lebanon, especially the martyrs of the Al Mayadeen Media network: correspondent Farah Omar, the camera Rabih Me'mari, and their civillian companion Hussein Akil.

Moreover, the top diplomat stressed that after 6 weeks of confrontations and Resistance, time has proven that "it is not in the favor of the artificial Zionist entity and the United States of America," adding that "We heard from the Resistance that their hands will remain on the trigger until the rights of the Palestinian people are restored."

Hamas: Timing is key

In turn, the representative of the Hamas movement in Lebanon, Ahmed Abdel Hadi, confirmed that Amir-Abdollahian, in his first visit, delivered a message to the Israeli occupation and its supporters that Iran stands by the Palestinian people and their Resistance.

According to Abdel Hadi, today's visit comes at an important time, after the Palestinian Resistance recorded major victories against the occupation in their ground invasion.

Abdel Hadi also stressed that the victory of the Palestinian Resistance and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people led the Resistance to a position of power, where it could impose a truce on the enemy, in which the conditions imposed by the Resistance were met.

For his part, member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, Ibrahim al-Musawi, confirmed that the Israeli targeting of the two fellow martyrs in Al Mayadeen was because “media is a partner in the victory.”

Amal: Enemies cannot silence truth

Khalil Hamdan, a member of the Amal Movement's presidency, stressed that the occupation targeted Al Mayadeen "to prevent the media from revealing, through sight and sound, the falsity of its claims and exposing its crimes and massacres against civilians and innocents."

Hamdan explained that "the Islamic Republic of Iran has long supported the oppressed in the face of the forces of evil and tyranny," noting that "the free people are convinced every day that Resistance is the right choice."

He also pointed out that authoritarian regimes falsely claim to raise the slogans of freedom, democracy, humanity and equality, but will fail to carry these slogans forward once the interests of "Israel" are threatened.

It is noteworthy that the Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed earlier that the martyrdom of dozens of journalists in Gaza and southern Lebanon shows the significant role of journalism in reporting on this genocide and these war crimes.

In a post on the platform X, Amir-Abdollahian said that the martyrdom of dozens of journalists and photographers shows "their influence and special role in awakening world public opinion."

Sayyed Nasrallah meets Hamas leaders, discuss ongoing collaboration

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, received Hamas's deputy head in the Gaza Strip, and its Arab and Islamic relations chief, Khalil Al-Hayya on Wednesday.

The meeting was also attended by Hamas official Osama Hamdan, where the two sides reviewed the recent events that unfolded since October 7.

The positions, developments, and possibilities on all Resistance fronts were also evaluated, especially in regard to the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Most importantly, however, were discussions confirming the continued collaboration and emphasizing the permanent coordination between the multiple Resistance factions in order to achieve victory.
