Iranian FM: Ready to Visit Baku to Boost Trust
Al Mayadeen correspondent reports that Iranian FM Hossein AmirAbdollahian invites his Azerbaijani counterpart to visit Tehran.
Al Mayadeen reporter revealed that the Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian announced on Wednesday his readiness to visit Baku to improve trust between the two countries, followed by an invitation to his Azerbaijani counterpart to visit Tehran.
Serious talks to be held in Moscow
This was during a visit by AmirAbdollahian to the Russian capital, Moscow, at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The top Iranian diplomat had confirmed that serious negotiations and bilateral talks would take place between Moscow and Tehran during his visit, in light of the current circumstances in the South Caucasus region and Afghanistan.
Recently, Iran conducted military drills in the northwest of the country close to its border with Azerbaijan, amid accusations to Baku of using security forces belonging to the Israeli occupation.
