Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, strongly condemned US President Donald Trump's contradictory stances and disrespectful rhetoric toward Iran, labeling them as part of a broader psychological warfare effort.

During a Sunday session of the Iranian Parliament, Ghalibaf denounced what he described as “paradoxical messages and fake news” from Western politicians, particularly “the unrespectable president of the US,” saying these tactics have become central to enemy psychological operations.

'Gambler politican'

He directly criticized Trump, referring to him as a “gambler politician” whose statements “lack any credibility.”

Ghalibaf asserted that Trump’s efforts "are merely a psychological operation to foment disappointment and fear among the people and disrupt the Iranian officials’ decision-making."

Iranians will never back down from protecting homeland

Concluding his remarks, Ghalibaf sent a firm message to adversaries, stating that Iranians will never back down from safeguarding their sovereignty.

Unity is an 'absolute priority for government,' Pezeshkian says

Preserving the unity of the Iranian nation is an “absolute priority for the government,” Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Sunday, calling for efforts to “strengthen public trust in state institutions.”

Speaking during a visit to the Iranian Ministry of Interior, Pezeshkian emphasized that the people "must be assured that the government is their refuge and is committed to serving them under all circumstances."

He noted that over the past 12 days, the Iranian people have demonstrated through “unity and cohesion” that they “stand firmly by their homeland despite the challenges.”

Pezeshkian: National unity safeguards security

Pezeshkian affirmed that “with the unity of the people, we can rely on citizen participation in decision-making, policy oversight, and safeguarding internal security.”

He praised the public’s support for the nation “regardless of ideological and political differences,” adding that this stance is worthy of appreciation and respect.

Educational reforms to promote national identity

Pezeshkian also announced a plan to activate schools and strengthen national education.

“We have a plan to provide comprehensive education on the concept of patriotism so that we can preserve this unity and raise awareness among our youth,” he said.

In this context, he called for “supporting educational and cultural efforts that reinforce a unified national identity.”
