Iranian President: Ukrainian people victim of US evil policies
When it comes to falling prey to the US evil policies, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi asserts that the Ukrainian people are akin to the peoples of Afghanistan, Yemen, and Iraq.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said on Sunday that Tehran opposes the war, and the sooner the war ends, the fewer the damages and consequences affecting people are.
Raisi added that the Ukrainian people are akin to the peoples of Afghanistan, Yemen, and Iraq - a victim of the US evil policies.
The Iranian President had previously expressed his understanding of the Russian special military operation resulting from the destabilizing activity of the US and NATO.
Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei said days ago that the events in Ukraine are the result of the US policies that incite tension.
On another note, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian confirmed last Thursday to his Irish counterpart, Simon Coveney, that the war in Ukraine is not a solution to end the conflict there.
Amir-Abdollahian had declared Iran's preparedness to help resolve the crisis in Ukraine in a peaceful way, expressing his hope to tackle the ongoing events through dialogue and diplomacy, without the interference of any other countries.
Raisi: the government will not make any of its programs subject to the nuclear negotiations
Regarding the ongoing Vienna Talks, Raisi said that the Foreign Ministry and the Iranian negotiating team are exerting efforts to follow up successfully on the process, but the government will not link its program to the ongoing negotiations or the nuclear deal.
The Iranian President added that the success of the new Iranian government over the past six months is the result of its serious follow-up on all issues, including those related to the foreign policy, the banking system, and oil, without linking its programs to the nuclear negotiations.
