Iraqi Hezbollah denounces escalation in Iraq, accuses US apparatuses
Iraq's Kata'ib Hezbollah issues a statement Tuesday denouncing the latest criminal actions and accusing "the apparatuses of the Zionist-US-Saudi axis of evil."
Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah issues a statement on Tuesday in which it denounced the latest criminal acts in Iraq and attributed them to the Zionist-US-Saudi axis of evil following the US withdrawal from Iraq, reiterating that such acts will not let the Iraqi people yield to the US schemes.
The statement said that the “US evil apparatuses are the ones standing behind the recent criminal acts in Iraq.”
“The escalation in the pace of criminal acts that have been carried out by the Zionist-US-Saudi axis of evil against our innocent people comes as part of a malicious strategy used by the Americans to legitimize their presence through various cunning methods, prior to the date of their alleged withdrawal,” the statement said.
The statement asserted the responsibility of these apparatuses for the crimes that took place recently in Diyala, Makhmour, and al-Basra, noting that “these apparatuses are working according to pre-planned timings, deluding the public by linking the withdrawal of their forces to security instability, and our proud people will not buy this cunning scheme.”
The statement continued to say that these criminal bloody events would turn into a new bloody series aiming to keep the US oppressive forces in the country, and this “must be exposed and confronted by the national forces and popular movements.”
To conclude, the statement recalled the sufferings and sacrifices of the Iraqi people under these forces over the past years, and affirmed that “Iraqis will not yield now to the US policies of oppression or blackmail.”
