Kataib Hezbollah strongly condemned the US on Saturday for its support of the ongoing Israeli war on Gaza, particularly denouncing Tel Aviv's recent airstrike on a refugee camp in southern Gaza.

The statement came following Israeli airstrikes that killed over 90 Palestinians, including women and children, and wounded more than 300 at the al-Mawasi camp near Gaza City's Khan Younis.

The group underscored Washington’s unwavering political and military backing of the occupation since the war began on October 7, saying that “America, the epitome of evil and crime, continues to participate in the killing of the Palestinian people by supporting the Zionists."

It reminded that the United States was “supplying them ['Israel'] with thousands of tons of bombs to commit massacres and genocide against children, women, and innocents, the latest of which was the al-Mawasi massacre.” The group denounced the “US' incitement and international silence towards the brutality of the Zionist entity.”

In conclusion, Kataib Hezbollah emphasized that the Israeli occupation only responds to force, stating, "What is taken by force can only be recovered by force." The group called for increased operations by the regional Axis of Resistance in support of Gazans affected by the war.

After the massacre, there was an international outcry against the Israeli occupation's actions. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, "What is happening in Gaza is not a war or self-defense but genocide," adding that no country in the region, including Turkey, can feel safe as long as "Israel" seeks its security by occupying lands.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanani said targeting the tents of displaced people in areas that had been declared safe is "a new crime in the record of Zionist crimes that continue in light of the silence of the international community, the comprehensive US support for this entity that kills innocent people, the double standards of European countries, and the failure to use the existing capabilities of Islamic countries."

In turn, the Political Bureau of the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen strongly condemned the brutal genocide massacres of the occupation, the latest being the massacre in al-Mawasi in Khan Younis and the massacre at the prayer area at the al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza.

Moreover, the Arab Republic of Egypt strongly also condemned "Israel's" bombing of the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis, which is filled with displaced people, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of innocent Palestinian civilians.

In turn, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the massacre by the Israeli occupation and its continued aggressive assault on the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians and refugee shelters.

US-manufactured JDAM bombs used in al-Mawasi massacre

On Saturday, Israeli news website Maariv reported that the bombs used by Israeli forces in the al-Mawasi massacre were US-manufactured JDAM bombs. Known for their precision and advanced targeting capabilities, JDAMs are kits that are attached to Mark 80 series bombs, which turn the dumb bomb into a precision munition.

Israeli Army Radio reported that the Israeli Air Force dropped a total of 8 JDAM-guided bombs during the massacre, resulting in 390 Palestinians falling casualty.

The total tally of the aggression is over 100 casualties so far, with reports coming in from Khan Younis saying that over an hour and a half into the aggression, martyrs are still being brought in to the Kuwaiti Hospital, as the Ministry of Health stressed that the whole of the Gaza Strip cannot bear this number of casualties due to the healthcare infrastructure being impaired by constant Israeli bombardment.
