Resistance factions condemn Khan Younis massacre
The Israeli occupation forces had committed a horrific massacre in Gaza's Khan Younis, potentially killing over a hundred civilians.
The massacres perpetrated by the occupation forces in Gaza, including the latest atrocity in Khan Younis on Saturday, only strengthen the Palestinians' resolve to uphold their demands, Mohammad al-Hajj Mousa, spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement in Lebanon told Al Mayadeen.
Al-Hajj Mousa highlighted that the Resistance would not release Israeli captives without extracting a price. He stressed that the Resistance had shown all necessary flexibility out of responsibility to their people and accused Netanyahu of putting new obstacles in the way to avoid reaching any agreement.
The Islamic Jihad Movement issued a statement in which it condemned the Khan Younis massacre, describing it as a continuation of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
The statement underlined that this massacre came after ten months of global inaction and failure to lift the blockade on hundreds of thousands trapped by violence and starvation.
Hamas: Occupation will never subdue Palestinian people
Ahmed Abdel Hadi, Hamas' representative in Lebanon, also spoke to Al Mayadeen, asserting that the occupation would never be able to subdue the Palestinian people, who have chosen to stand with the Resistance. He added that despite the pain the massacres had caused, the negotiating Palestinian leadership would not yield to the conditions imposed by the Israeli occupation and its US allies.
Marwan Abdel Aal, a member of the politburo of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), reiterated the Resistance's rejection of a conditional ceasefire, asserting that the occupation is deluded in expecting compliance.
He noted that Palestinian negotiators operate from a position of strength amid support from multiple fronts beyond Gaza.
Mujahideen condemn international silence
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement condemned the international silence and Arab complicity in the ongoing genocide against Gaza, calling the latest massacre in Khan Younis' refugee camps a multi-faceted crime against civilians and displaced persons. The movement placed the primary responsibility on the Biden administration and US President Joe Biden for continuing to support the occupation with international cover and arms supplies.
The Mujahideen Movement renewed its call for Palestinian fighters in the West Bank and the territories occupied since 1948 to escalate militarily against the occupation forces and settlers, asserting that the enemy understands but violence.
Additionally, the Popular Resistance Committees in occupied Palestine condemned the horrific massacre in Khan Younis, highlighting that the bombing of refugee tents with tons of American missiles reveals the extreme Nazism and fascism of the Zionist entity.
They argued that such war crimes and acts of genocide would not occur without American approval and international complicity, equating to partnership in these atrocities. The recent arms deal delivering high-destructive bombs to the occupation forces was seen as an encouragement for the continuation of massacres against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation forces committed a horrific massacre in Khan Younis, where heavy bombardment of the al-Mawasi area of the city killed dozens of civilians and wounded dozens of others, with reports indicating that the number of those killed is no less than 70.
The total tally of the aggression is over 120 casualties so far, with reports coming in from Khan Younis saying that over an hour and a half into the aggression, martyrs are still being brought in to the Kuwaiti Hospital, as the Ministry of Health stressed that the whole of the Gaza Strip cannot bear this number of casualties due to the healthcare infrastructure being impaired by constant Israeli bombardment.
Dozens of bodies are still stuck under the rubble as first responders and rescue workers are attempting to reach all those murdered and wounded; most of the latter are critically injured, as reports coming in from the Kuwaiti hospital indicate.
