Palestinian Resistance factions hailed the steadfastness of both the Lebanese Resistance and the Lebanese people, which led to the cessation of Israeli aggression on Lebanon

Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas commented on the ceasefire, noting that the Israeli occupation's acceptance of the agreement with Lebanon without achieving its demands marked a significant blow to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s illusions of reshaping the Middle East.

Hamas stated that this agreement would not have been possible without the steadfastness of the Lebanese Resistance and the support of its people.

The movement expressed confidence in the continued support of the Axis of Resistance for the Palestinian cause, assuring that they would continue to back the struggle through all available means. The group also affirmed its commitment to cooperating with any ceasefire efforts in Gaza, provided that they align with national agreements.

Nakhaleh congratulates Hezbollah

In a message of solidarity and pride, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, extended congratulations to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon for their steadfastness and sacrifices.

In his statement addressed to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, al-Nakhalah highlighted the shared struggle between the Palestinian and Lebanese Resistance movements against common enemies, including the United States and its allies.

"From Palestine to Lebanon, from steadfast Gaza with its Resistance fighters to the resilient Southern Suburb and its people, and from the brave fighters of Palestine to the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, you have upheld the banner of Resistance with dignity and pride despite the wounds and the enemies' onslaught," he wrote.

Al-Nakhalah praised Hezbollah's unwavering support for Palestine, stating, "You fought, stood firm, and supported your brethren in Palestine, offering precious and pure blood while others failed to provide even a sip of water to the thirsty and hungry among the Palestinian people."

He also commended the Lebanese people's resilience, Hezbollah's fallen martyrs, and the bravery of its fighters, particularly those stationed on the southern front. He reaffirmed the unity of their cause, expressing confidence in victory through steadfastness and faith.

Al-Nakhalah concluded with the immortal words of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: "We are never defeated! We either achieve victory or victory."

PIJ: Resistance foiled enemy's plans

A member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's Political Bureau, Ihsan Ataya, spoke to Al Mayadeen, describing the victory as a "historic" and "momentous" day for the Lebanese and regional Resistance. He pointed out that the swift return of displaced people to their homes, despite the devastation, reflected their trust in the Resistance fighters who had written heroic tales.

Ataya emphasized that the Lebanese people, through their resilience and defiance of all threats, forced the Israeli occupation to back down and thwarted its plans. "This victory is also a victory for Gaza," he said. He added that the sacrifices made by the Lebanese Resistance for the sake of Palestine were unparalleled worldwide, and Palestinians remain indebted to Lebanon's struggle.

He further stressed that the steadfastness of the people of Gaza would lead to further victories, undermining Israeli attempts to claim achievements after their significant defeat. "The resilient Lebanese people defeated the enemy, who is now compelled to reach a settlement in Gaza."

Mujahideen movement praises Hezbollah

The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement issued a statement acknowledging the steadfastness of the Lebanese Resistance and its significant role in confronting Israeli aggression. The movement emphasized that Hezbollah "endured and dealt heavy blows to the occupying Zionist entity, which is backed unconditionally by the US and the world's powers of evil."

The statement also highlighted the great sacrifices made by the Lebanese Resistance, particularly offering martyrs, with special mention of the late Hezbollah leader, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The movement emphasized that these sacrifices had strengthened and deepened the Resistance’s resolve to continue on the path of resistance until victory is achieved by the will of God.

The Mujahideen Movement stressed the urgent need to "mobilize the entire Arab nation to halt the genocidal war being waged by the Israeli government against the Palestinian people in Gaza."

PFLP lauds unity in struggle against 'Israel'

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also expressed its admiration for the steadfastness of the Lebanese people and their Resistance, asserting that the cessation of Israeli aggression came after a long period of enduring hardships and immense sacrifices.

The statement praised Hezbollah’s firm positions and courageous initiatives in supporting the Palestinian people, noting that their actions demonstrated the unity of struggle against the Israeli enemy.

The PFLP renewed its call for the entire Arab world to rise and fulfill its duty in confronting the comprehensive aggression against Arab peoples. It emphasized the importance of mobilizing popular Arab support for Palestine, particularly in the face of Israel’s ongoing "genocidal war".
