Iraqi Resistance responds to Gaza call, strikes US forces in Erbil
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has carried out over a dozen operations targeting US occupation bases in both Iraq and Syria in support of Gaza.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said on Thursday that they targeted American forces near Erbil International Airport in the Iraqi Kurdistan region with two drones, confirming that the direct impact was achieved.
As the Al-Aqsa Flood operation nears its 3-week mark, the Resistance group continued to target US occupation bases in Syria and Iraq, after earlier announcing that they had launched their operations in support of Gaza, which is facing genocide in the Israeli ongoing aggression.
Earlier today, the Islamic Resistance also claimed responsibility for targeting US forces in Al-Shaddadi, in the countryside of Al-Hasakah in Syria.

Since day one of the launch of the Al-Aqsa Flood, and in response to the United States declaring full support to the Israeli crimes against Palestinians and their holy sites, Iraqi Resistance factions declared that all US bases within reach had become legitimate targets, especially those in Iraq.
Washington admitted on Wednesday that, so far, 30 American military personnel have been wounded in the attacks, which have been ongoing for 10 consecutive days.
This also comes as Hezbollah increases its operations on Israeli military bases and outposts located on occupied Lebanese lands in support of Gaza.
Furthermore, Israeli media reported on Sunday that there are estimations within the entity of the possibility of missile launches from Yemen and Iraq.
Earlier on Saturday, the USS Carney positioned in the Red Sea at the time, said it intercepted four cruise missiles and 15 drones reportedly launched by Sanaa toward occupied Palestinian territories.
Commenting later on the event, Israeli strategic affairs expert Yoni Ben-Menachem warned, in a post on X, that Yemen has joined in the battle against "Israel."
