The Islamic resistance in Iraq announced in a statement that the group targeted the Ain al-Assad US base in Iraq's Anbar province twice in two separate operations on Tuesday.
The party confirmed that these attacks were in continuation of the Resistance against the US occupation in Iraq and the region and in response to the Israeli entity's massacres against the people of Gaza.
Since October 17, the Resistance group has carried out 151 attacks on US occupation bases in Syria and Iraq. The operations resulted in the injury of over 70 American soldiers.

In a significant operation, the Islamic Resistance struck the Ain al-Assad base last Saturday with 10 heavy missiles, in what was described as the largest and most intense attack against a US base since the group launched its operations in support of Gaza last October.
Additionally, Israeli military sites and targets have come under numerous attacks launched by the Islamic Resistance, most recently targeting the port of "Ashdod" in the occupied territories with drones on Tuesday.
Announcing the strike, the Resistance reiterated its unwavering commitment "to destroy enemy strongholds," as part of its ongoing approach to resist the occupation and support the people of Gaza.
