Israeli media reported on Sunday morning a large explosion in the occupied Haifa Bay near the oil refineries.

Israeli statements on the explosion's details have been contradictory. Some Israeli media outlets claimed that the blast in the occupied Haifa Bay refineries was due to a malfunction, characterizing it as "non-security-related." Conversely, other Israeli media sources proposed that the explosion was a result of a missile strike.

Israeli affairs expert Feras Yaghi stated to Al Mayadeen that there appears to be a security incident in the occupied Haifa Bay, with talks within "Israel" about a possible missile strike.
