The Islamic Resistance in Iraq expressed its full solidarity with the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah, stressing they will fight alongside their comrades in the Lebanese group in case the Israeli government decides to wage a new war on Lebanon.

The Lebanese al-Akhbar newspaper, citing unnamed sources from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, reported that the Kata'ib Hezbollah, Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, and Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba resistance groups have announced their readiness to fight alongside Hezbollah in the face of any escalated Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

The sources added that the Iraqi Resistance groups are awaiting Hezbollah’s approval.

The spokesperson for the Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, Kadhim al-Fartousi, stated that Hezbollah possesses significant prowess, effective weaponry, and a substantial number of fighters, enabling it to repel Israeli aggression, regardless of its scale effectively.

“Should the need arise for Iraqi fighters in southern Lebanon, we will be the first to face up to the Zionist enemy’s act of aggression [alongside Hezbollah]. This is a Muslim and Arab issue,” he pointed out.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah directed clear messages to the leadership of the Israeli occupation and its military on Wednesday, emphasizing that the threat of an eight-month-long war does not intimidate Hezbollah. He pointed out that both the occupation and the US understood that a war against Lebanon would have significant repercussions in the region.

Nasrallah said that Hezbollah possessed a comprehensive and real target bank with the capability to reach all targets, destabilizing the foundation of the Israeli occupation. He also warned that "the enemy knows that what awaits it in the Mediterranean Sea is also very significant."

"The enemy knows it must expect us on land, in the air, and at sea, and if war is imposed, the resistance will fight without constraints, rules, or limits," he declared.
