IRGC: Iran's power lets it 'fearlessly' take down global arrogance
Speaking on Iran's success, Major General Hossein Salami states that sanctions were never an obstacle, as Iran was able to push through those sanctions because it stood by its people.
Iran's power has grown enormously, to the extent that it “fearlessly” attacks the heart of global arrogance, the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC Major General Hossein Salami said in Semnan Province on Monday.
“The fact that the Islamic Republic attacks the heart of the [global] arrogance fearlessly and with the knowledge of all-round enmity and consequences shows the people’s power of faith, resistance, will and progress,” said Salami, referring to the latest recent Operation True Promise against "Israel" by saying, "By relying on the strength and power of the zealous Iranian nation, the operation was not carried out as a surprise, but by taking responsibility for it and broadcasting its images."
"From the very first moments of the operation, Iranians took to the streets to express their support for the retaliatory attack and the IRGC," he underlined.
Speaking on success, Salami stated that sanctions were never an obstacle. "The power of the Islamic Republic establishment today is the outcome of resistance and progress in an endless war in multiple forms with different countries of the world," he stressed.

According to the general, the enemies of Iran enforced sanctions as a way to "paralyze and make it surrender, however, our nation turned the sanction into an opportunity for progress, and this power's great achievements have been displayed to the world in various fields today."
The key to pushing through those sanctions is "being with the people," Salami said.
This comes a mere week after Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian revealed that ahead of Operation True Promise – Iran's legendary retaliation against "Israel" for striking its consulate in Syria – Western countries asked Tehran to show restraint and dilute the intensity of any retaliatory attack against "Israel" after the occupation assassinated seven of Iran's officials.
"Ahead of the operation, the request of the Westerners was that if you want to respond, do not hit hard and reduce the intensity of the operation," the top diplomat said in a cabinet briefing.
Amir-Abdollahian said that ever since Iran declared that it would retaliate against "Israel's" attack on its consulate in Syria, the United States and its Western allies rushed to request a low-intensity response.
Iran's reply to the West's request was "that the root [cause] is in the Gaza crisis that should be resolved and they should focus on that issue."
