IRGC deputy chief: Palestine our central cause until end of 'Israel'
Iran reiterates its support for the Palestinian people, asserting that Palestine will remain the central cause of the Islamic world until "Israel" comes to an end.
A solidarity rally with the Palestinian people was held in Tehran, Iran, in condemnation of the Israeli brutal crimes against Gaza.
In his speech at the rally, Iran's Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander Ali Fadawi said, “We stand by the Palestinian people," asserting that Palestine will remain the central cause of the Islamic world until "Israel no longer exists."
“Zionists are trying to protect themselves with the Iron Dome and concrete walls after they claimed that their territories extend from the Nile to the Euphrates,” he added.
The participants chanted against the Israeli and American atrocities, most notably in Palestine. They also raised Palestinian flags alongside the photos of Palestinian martyrs.
This is happening as Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades mourned its leader Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi and his companions, Islam Sabbouh and Hussein Taha, who were martyred in an armed confrontation with the Israeli occupation forces that besieged the house they were inside in the eastern neighborhood of the Old City of Nablus.
In a statement, the Brigades vowed that the response to this crime will have no limits and will be as huge as the size of the crime committed by the brutal enemy, stressing that the Israeli occupation will bear the consequences of this aggression.
Following Al-Nabulsi and his two companion's martyrdom, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that the death toll of Palestinians killed by the IOF in 2022 rose to 129, including at least 34 children.
The confrontations in Nablus come two days after the Egyptian-mediated armistice agreement between "Israel" and the PIJ movement entered into force, starting at 11:30 pm on Sunday.
