Islamic Resistance in Iraq drone-strikes Eilat, south Palestine
The Iraqi Resistance confirms that it will continue striking the enemy's strongholds with increasing intensity.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced its first military operation of the day, targeting a vital target in occupied Umm al-Rashrash [Eilat], in southern occupied Palestine, using drones.
A statement released by the Resistance's military media revealed that the operation came as part of its commitment to continue resisting the occupation, to support the brotherly people of Lebanon and Palestine, and as a response to the ongoing Israeli crimes and massacres against women, children, and the elderly.

Footage of the operation was also published, featuring a photo dedication to Martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former deputy head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units who was assassinated alongside Lieutenant General martyr Qassem Soleimani in a 2020 US drone strike.

The operation was declared only minutes after sirens blasted in Eilat amid a drone infiltration. The spokesperson of the Israeli occupation army stated that during interception attempts, one interceptor missile fell in the area, prompting an investigation into the incident.
On Saturday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq launched seven drone attacks against Israeli targets in occupied territories, from the south to the north.
