The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon mourned its freedom fighters Hisham Mohammad Ismail, Ali Abbas Melhem, Mohsen Reda Ayyash, Ali Kazem Ftouni, and Hussein Walid Zeeb, who were martyred while performing their duty in south Lebanon against the Israeli occupation.
Earlier, Hezbollah announced for the first time in the ongoing confrontations that it had used drones to target an Israeli military base near the Lebanese border.
In an operation on Thursday, the Resistance group announced it had targeted the headquarters of the Israeli Zebdine barracks in occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with two UAVs carrying a heavy load of explosives, confirming direct hits.

Following the Zebdine operation, sources informed Al Mayadeen that Israeli helicopters were seen landing at the targeted sites and started evacuating a significant number of casualties.
The drone attack came as part of a wide-scale operation carried out by Hezbollah, during which 19 Israeli military bases and outposts were targeted simultaneously, the Resistance said in a statement, noting that guided missiles, rockets, artillery shells, and the newly introduced drones were used.
The targeted sites and positions, according to the Resistance's statement, are as follows:
Marj,
al-Malikiyah,
Jal al-Deer,
Ras Naqoura,
Khirbet Zrariyt,
al-Dhayrah
As for the points targeted they are as follows in detail:
- 12/13/14/16 between al-Bahri site and Jal al-Alam,
- 59 opposite al-Dhayrah site,
- 62/67 opposite Hadab al-Bustan,
- 89/90/91 between Mount Abu Dajaj and Khirbet Zrariyt,
- 394/395/396 opposite the occupied town of Hounin.
