'Israel' assassinates another PIJ senior official
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad announces the assassination of another top official following an Israeli mission in Khan Yunis.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced on Thursday that the Israeli occupation forces assassinate commander Ahmad Mahmoud Abu Daqqa in an air raid conducted on Khan Yunis.
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that a martyr and four casualties had arrived at the European Hospital in Gaza from Khan Yunis after heavy shelling by the Israeli occupation forces.
Abu Daqqa was the deputy commander of the brigades' missile unit. He was the second-in-command after Ali Hassan Ghali, who was assassinated on Thursday dawn
Al-Quds Brigades announced the martyrdom of Ali Hassan Ghali, a member of the group's military council and the head of the brigades' missile unit, saying he was martyred in an Israeli assassination exacted at Wednesday dawn alongside several other PIJ fighters in the north of Khan Yunis.
Ghali was the fourth senior PIJ official to get assassinated in 48 hours. The Israeli occupation launched at Tuesday dawn heinous aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting civilian homes and several locations, and murdering 30 Palestinians thus far, including women and children.
The Israeli occupation forces said the Israeli Air Force's air raids on Gaza have killed Jihad Ghannam, the chief of the southern command of the PIJ's armed wing, the Al-Quds Brigades, and his wife.
The Israeli occupation's air raids also targeted Islamic Jihad spokesperson Tarek Ezzedine's house. The PIJ official was martyred.
Another martyr was the commander of the northern region of the Islamic Jihad, Commander Khalil Al-Bahtimi.
The bombing of a residential building came despite the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement warning the Israeli occupation that its policy of bombing civilian homes would be met with the relentless shelling of "Tel Aviv" and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The PIJ's warning came after the Israeli occupation forces conducted an air raid on a home in Beit Lahia and another in Beit Hanoun was leveled to the ground by the airstrike.
