Any security operation or assassination carried out by the Israeli occupation anywhere in the world will be met with a decisive response, and Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's threats regarding the Resistance responding to the targeting of any figure in Lebanon acted as a means of deterrence in the face of the occupation, Hamas representative in Lebanon, Osama Hamda, told Al Mayadeen on Wednesday.

"The Resistance in Lebanon stands by its word, and any Israeli attacks on Lebanon, regardless of the location or figure, Lebanese or foreign, will be met with a swift and decisive response from the resistance, and this must be understood," the Hezbollah leader said in March. "What the enemy is threatening could be the very reason for its demise."

The Israeli policy of assassinating anyone who stands against them is still ongoing, and the Israeli occupation forces are still utilizing it against the Palestinian resistance factions, the Hamas official said.

Assassinations are a go-to policy for the Israeli occupation, though the occupation has proven his inability to deal with the growing might of the Resistance, Hamdan underlined. "The occupation is focusing on Sheikh Al-Saleh Al-Arouri because he is the deputy head of Hamas and due to his role in the West Bank."

Israeli deterrence has, in fact, eroded, and "Tel Aviv" is before very few options, the Hamas official stressed, underlining that the Israeli occupation's ineptitude was due to the Resistance's capabilities in the face of any aggression.

"There is a joint operations room for the resistance, and it is concerned with responding to the crimes of the Israeli occupation and its targeting of any resistance leader," Hamdan explained.

هناك غرفة عمليات مشتركة للمقاومة وهي معنية بالرد على الجرائم الإسرائيلية وعلى استهداف أي قيادي في المقاومة.

"Israel" is concerned about the unity of the battlefields because the entity's policy was based on "fragmenting the nation and causing sectarian and ethnic strife between countries," Hamdan said.

The Israeli occupation cannot reign victorious in a battle in which the Arab and Islamic worlds are united, and the axis of resistance is at a historic turning point because "Israel" is in decline as the Resistance is on the rise.

Hamdan stressed that the Israeli occupation comparing Al-Arouri to martyr Qassem Soleimani reveals the occupation's fear of there being any inspiring figures in the Arab and Islamic worlds.

Hamdan concluded his interview for Al Mayadeen by underlining that Damascus still had the Palestinian cause as a main objective, revealing that that is what Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad told the Resistance.
