'Israel' empties section 4 in Al-Naqab prison, hunger strike begins
The Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office reveals that the Israeli Occupation Forces stormed section 4 in Al-Naqab prison, and emptied it of prisoners in a provocative manner.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Information Office revealed today that "the repression units of the occupation's Prison Service stormed Section 4 of Al-Naqab prison, and provocatively emptied it of prisoners."
According to the office, pressure and tension are currently mounting in Al-Naqab prison, following a series of measures imposed by the Israeli Occupation prison administration against the Palestinian prisoners throughout the past two weeks.
It was also noted that the prisoners detained in Al-Naqab prison are preparing to start an open-ended hunger strike in response to the repeated and continuous violations conducted by the Israeli Occupation's prison administration.

On the same day, last month, Israeli occupation forces brutally assaulted Palestinian prisoners in Al-Naqab prison and transferred a number of them to cells.
The Prisoners' Information Office reported that the Masada units stormed Section 21 of the prison and transferred a number of prisoners to the cells, adding that there is a state of extreme tension prevailing in the prison.
This comes amid the state of general mobilization in all Israeli occupation prisons, in which administrative detainees are held, in preparation for carrying out an open hunger strike.
Palestinians behind Israeli bars seek their freedom
Earlier in June, the Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and ex-Detainees confirmed that the Administrative Prisoners Committee inside Israeli occupation prisons continued its preparations for the start of a battle called Revolution for Freedom... Administrative Prisoners' Intifada.
The Ministry indicated that the Israeli Prison Service has launched a counter-campaign in an attempt to thwart the hunger strike movement of administrative prisoners and threatened them with a number of harsh penalties.
The Israeli occupation has also offered some prisoners fake promises of release in exchange for not participating in the upcoming hunger strike, the Ministry added.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation has often used the pretext of administrative detention to sow fear among Palestinian youth and attempt to contain the uprisings and liberation movements through the detention of Palestinians under false and illegal pretexts.
Administrative prisoners are held in Israeli prisons without charges filed against them, and their detention is renewed as a precautionary measure.
There is usually no evidence to incriminate the prisoners in any case, nor are any cases brought before their lawyers.
The arrests are approved by military judges who receive an order signed by a commander of the occupation military in the occupied West Bank, along with secret intelligence materials about each prisoner.
