‘Israel’ set to demolish house of Hamas deputy chief in West Bank
Failing to achieve any significant result in Gaza, "Israel" has embarked on a retaliatory measure of demolishing the house of a Hamas leader.
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) decided, on Friday, to demolish the house owned by the deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri. The house is located in the Arura area in the Ramallah district, occupied West Bank.
Al-Arouri's house had been abandoned for some time, and the Israeli forces seized it. They also hung a sign indicating that it would be converted into an Israeli intelligence headquarters for the occupation army. The house was used to detain residents of the town and conduct interrogations.
IOF later declared that al-Arouri house had been transformed into headquarters for the Shin Bet and the Israeli army.
Activists shared images on social media of the seizure of the house, along with a sign reading, "This was the house of Saleh Mohammad Suleiman al-Arouri, and it has become the headquarters of the Israeli intelligence."
Later, eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli army withdrew from the house and the town.
Meanwhile, IOF raided Friday at the brink of dawn several Palestinian cities in the occupied West Bank, engaging in numerous confrontations with Palestinian freedom fighters who sought to deter the Israeli occupation forces.
The incursions saw the Israeli occupation forces open fire in numerous sites, which resulted in injuries in the Dheisha refugee camp, with violent arrests taking place in northern al-Khalil.
The Israeli occupation forces raided the cities of Areeha, al-Khalil, Nablus, Tulkram, Tubas, Beit Lahm, Ramallah, and Qalqiliya. The confrontations in Qalqilya led to the martyrdom of liberated prisoner Qassem Abdel-Hafez.
Namely, the towns raided include Naalin in Areeha and Sawrif and Doura in al-Khalil, as well as the Aqabat Jaber and Ain al-Sultan refugee camps in Areeha, Aida and Dheisha refugee camps in Beit Lahm, the Shuafat refugee camp north of occupied al-Quds, as well as various other towns in each of the aforementioned cities.
The raids were part of a massive arrest campaign the Israeli occupation forces are carrying out on a daily basis in order to terrorize the Palestinian people and limit any participation in any activity that would serve Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in Gaza.
It is worth noting that Hezbollah Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, has recently received the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) Secretary-General, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, and the Deputy Head of Hamas' Political Baureu, Saleh al-Arouri.
The three Resistance leaders discussed the ongoing confrontations near the Lebanese-Palestinian border and the latest events taking place in the Gaza Strip since the launching of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7.
The leaders also assessed international and regional positions on the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian people.
Importantly, the tripartite meeting explored the future roles of the parties of the Axis of Resistance during this critical phase in the context of achieving a victory for the Resistance in Gaza and Palestine and halting the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the West Bank.
The leaders agreed to coordinate and continuously follow up on the unfolding events on a daily basis.
