The resistance directs its compass towards Al-Quds and Palestine, and it follows occupied Al-Quds, Palestinian Islamic Jihad political bureau member Walid Al-Qutati said Wednesday, calling for the achievement of Palestinian unity from the gate of the project of resistance and liberation.

During a speech at the conference held by the National Committee to commemorate the third anniversary of the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani in the Gaza Strip, Al-Qutati demanded a return to the goal of complete liberation of Palestine "away from the illusion of dreamers of an independent Palestinian state alongside the Zionist entity."

"Martyr Soleimani rose in a prolonged battle and a long struggle and went on as a martyr on the righteous path," he stressed, noting that "the Zionist-American falsehood wanted Soleimani's influence out of Palestine, but he is a spirit of resistance present on every front in which revolutionaries are fighting and every time there is a struggle between the truth and the falsehood."

"Palestine being at the heart of Iran is the real reason behind the assassination of martyr Major General Qassem Soleimani," he said, noting that the latter was "a symbol of the presence of Palestine in the heart of Iran and a spearhead in the chest of the Zionist entity and American colonialism."

Al-Qutati revealed one of Soleimani's messages to the leaders of the Palestinian resistance, saying: "Reassure everyone that the Islamic Iran will not leave Palestine by itself, no matter how great the pressures are on it and regardless of how harsh the siege gets, for defending Palestine is the true sign of defending Islam and the Quran. If God wills it, the dawn of victory will come soon with his help."

Talking about one of his meetings with the martyr Soleimani, he said, "One of the most frequent phrases he repeated was 'We are at your service. All our capabilities are at your disposal. We are soldiers in the battle to liberate Al-Quds and Palestine. We are with Palestine, its cause, its people, and its resistance'."

"Iran's consistent policy irritated America, which shed the blood of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, and his blood became a separator between two approaches," he pointed, calling for "the achievement of Palestinian unity and focusing on the project of liberating Palestine and making it a national goal that is alienated from all of the slogans that have been rendered void of any meaning."

Al-Buraim: Martyr Soleimani to expand our cause

For his part, the Director of the Media Office of the Resistance Committees in Palestine, Mohammad Al-Buraim said that the project of martyr Qassem Soleimani is expanding and would serve as a model for the expansion of the Palestinian national cause until liberation and return.

In memory of Soleimani, Al-Buraim added, "we say to all the enemies of the nation that the struggle will not stop."
