BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

"Israel" will pay a heavy price for attacking Palestinians, a member of the Hamas political bureau, Salah Al-Bardawil, said in response to threats made by Israeli officials against leaders of the Palestinian Resistance.

Al-Bardawil told Al Mayadeen during an interview that the recent picture circulated of Resistance leader Saleh Al-Arouri in military attire is a direct challenge to the occupation government, affirming the great influence that Al-Arouri has in Resistance circles.

He emphasized that any assassination ploy against Al-Arouri would be met with an "unexpected response."

Al-Bardawil told Al Mayadeen that "the Resistance possesses significant information that harms the occupation entity," pointing out that "Netanyahu cannot bear the retaliation of the resistance, and his downfall is approaching."

He also clarified that the "ramifications of assassinating a prominent Palestinian figure" will lead to igniting several fronts in the face of the Israeli occupation, adding that the possibility of a regional war has become more likely.

"The repercussions of a major Palestinian leader could entail tensions all over the region and even a regional war," Hamas politburo member Salah Al-Bardawil tells #AlMayadeen. https://t.co/YknoDuxFff

The Resistance will remain steadfast

In a similar context Maher Al-Taher, the head of international relations for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PLFP), told Al Mayadeen that "the threats of the occupation government against Palestinian leadership are due to its internal crisis," confirming that "the response will be strong as we move towards comprehensive confrontation."

"The cowardice of the enemy might lead it to attempt to assassinate Resistance leaders, and it will pay a hefty price with each violation it commits against the Palestinian people," Hamas politburo member Salah Al-Bardawil tells #AlMayadeen. https://t.co/6shj7paou6

Al-Taher highlighted the historical example of "Israel's" assassination of PFLP leader Abu Ali Mustafa on August 27, 2001, in the context of the second Intifada. He emphasized that despite this act, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine remained resolute, demonstrating that similar actions in the future would likely yield minimal impact on the overall strength of the Resistance.

"Netanyahu must understand that the resistance will respond vigorously if any Palestinian leader is assassinated," Al-Taher stated.

Al-Taher pointed out that the "strength of the Resistance axis confuses the enemy ["Israel"], which finds itself in a predicament due to the growing resistance in Palestinian territories."

Al-Arouri resilient in the face of threats

Hamas politburo deputy chief Sheikh Saleh Al-Arouri appeared on Saturday donning military attire and brandishing an assault rifle, in response to the Israeli occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's threats to have him assassinated.

"Hamas and the rest of Iran's auxiliaries are fully aware that we will fight with all means available to us against their attempts to sow violence against us in the West Bank, Gaza, and elsewhere," Benjamin Netanyahu said during a cabinet session on Sunday.

"The parties trying to harm us, and those funding and organizing them and promoting violence against Israeli will pay a hefty price," Netanyahu added.

In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen published on Friday, Al-Arouri mentioned that the Israeli occupation entity has a long history of carrying out assassinations and assassination attempts against Resistance leaders, but that this "does not change my beliefs and stances, nor will it alter my path by so much as an inch."

Hamas confirmed in the statement that the Palestinian Resistance will continue on the path of its martyrs and fight the occupation entity until all the nation's legitimate rights are claimed.

"Al-Arouri and all of his brothers, and our steadfast and steady Palestinian people, who presented a long convoy of martyrs, are continuing with determination and certainty in Resisting the occupation until all the legitimate rights of our people are restored, foremost of which is the liberation of Al-Quds and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque."
