"Israel" Worried About UAE-Iran Bilateral Ties
As an Emirati delegation is headed for Iran, a top Israeli government source told "Israel" Hayom that when regional players detect weakness, they "reach conclusions."

Ali Bageri Kani meets senior Emirati officials
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani met with two senior Emirati officials in November during a visit to the UAE.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that Kani met with the diplomatic advisor to the President of the UAE, Anwar Gargash.
The meeting discussed relations between the UAE and Iran, and the two sides emphasized the importance of strengthening them based on good neighborliness and mutual respect within the framework of common interests.
In November, the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed discussed with his Iranian counterpart, Hossein AmirAbdollahian, bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries.
"Breakthrough between Gulf states and 'Israel' is in danger"
A top Israeli government official told "Israel" Hayom these developments are very concerning for "Israel," adding that when regional players detect weakness, they "reach conclusions."
He added that "The Emirates are on their way to playing the Qatari game," referring to Qatar's equally good relations with the West as well as Iran and the Muslim brotherhood.
Former PM of "Israel" Benjamin Netanyahu also expressed that this shift was occurring due to US weakness, "They are starting to move in Iran's direction because they feel that there is weakness here. They feel that there was a change in Washington and a change in Jerusalem [occupied al-Quds]. The breakthrough between the Gulf states and 'Israel' is in danger."
