The Israeli occupation’s aggression on Gaza since dawn Sunday has left at least 47 Palestinians martyred and dozens more injured, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in the besieged Strip.
Scenes of destruction stretched across Gaza neighborhoods as occupation forces bombed residential buildings and areas sheltering displaced families. Witnesses reported direct hits on apartment blocks and refugee shelters, while Israeli drones dropped bombs on civilians in several areas.
Residential towers destroyed
Among the most prominent targets was the Mecca Tower in Tal al-Hawa, southern Gaza City, which was completely demolished by Israeli warplanes.
In eastern Gaza City, an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on a group of civilians in Yafa Street, wounding several people. Meanwhile, warplanes targeted a home near al-Shaabiya junction in al-Daraj neighborhood and launched raids on two houses in al-Shati refugee camp.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent added that occupation aircraft also struck civilian homes near al-Yazji bakery in al-Nasr neighborhood and bombed a residential building in al-Reis quarter of al-Sabra neighborhood.
Southern Gaza Strip under attack
In the southern Gaza Strip, six Palestinians were martyred by Israeli gunfire near the Morag axis south of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, al-Awda Hospital in al-Nuseirat said it received three casualties, including a young girl, after Israeli occupation forces targeted Palestinians attempting to flee via al-Rashid Street.
The bombardment comes amid intensifying attacks across the Strip, aiming to forcibly displace Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip.
