Israeli aggression on industrial city of Hisya in Homs countryside
The Israeli occupation launched an attack on the industrial city in the Hisyah area of the Homs countryside, targeting a car factory, and two vehicles transporting aid and relief supplies.
The director of Al Mayadeen's office in Damascus reported, citing field sources, that Israeli aggression struck a car manufacturing facility in the industrial city of Hisyah, located in the Homs countryside, using missile strikes.
Additionally, the field sources indicated that the Israeli attacks in Homs also hit two vehicles carrying aid and relief supplies within the industrial city of Hisyah, significantly worsening the humanitarian crisis in the area.
On Saturday, Syrian air defenses intercepted an Israeli hostile missile attack launched toward Homs Countryside, Syria, SANA reported.
This comes shortly after Syrian air defenses intercepted Israeli missile strikes near the capital, Damascus, overnight, marking the third such attack in recent nights, according to Syria's state news agency, SANA.
At the time, explosions were heard repeatedly in the area as the Israeli occupation forces targeted locations around Damascus.
The Syrian air defense systems successfully intercepted most missiles aimed at western Damascus, particularly in the direction of the Mezzeh neighborhood. However, the strikes led to casualties, with the Syrian Defense Ministry stating that three were killed and nine others injured as a result of the Israeli aggression.
On Sunday, the Syrian air defenses intercepted a drone heading toward the western countryside of Homs in light of escalating Israeli airstrikes on Syrian territory.
An Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Wadi Hanna area in al-Qusayr, near a Syrian Army checkpoint in the Homs countryside. According to the report, loud explosions were heard across the city of Homs, accompanied by intense barrages of anti-aircraft missiles.
