Israeli aggression targets Aleppo Airport in northern Syria
Al Mayadeen correspondent in Aleppo confirms that "the raids on Aleppo airport targeted the airstrip for civil aircraft."
The Syrian News Agency SANA reported Tuesday on its Telegram account that "an Israeli aggression targeted Aleppo Airport in Syria," after confirming that three explosions were heard in the sky of the city.
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen correspondent in Aleppo stated that "the raids on Aleppo Airport targeted the airstrip for civil aircraft."
According to a military source cited by SANA, the Israeli enemy attacked Aleppo International Airport with a number of missiles nearly at 20:16 p.m. from the direction of the Mediterranean to the west of Lattakia.
This aggression comes six days after the Israeli enemy targeted Aleppo International Airport with a missile strike, which caused material damage, according to a Syrian military source.
On August 31, the Syrian air defense forces repelled Israeli missile aggression against Damascus and Aleppo.
On August 25, two civilians were wounded as a result of Israeli occupation air strikes on the western Hama and Tartus regions.
On August 14, Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the Syrian air defenses engaged Israeli missiles targeting points in the vicinity of the city of Tartus, noting that the aggression was carried out by Israeli warplanes from over Lebanese territory.
