Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that at midnight on Sunday, an Israeli airstrike targeted a multi-story residential building in the Cola area of Beirut. This marks the first attack on the capital since the beginning of the war.

Initial reports indicate that it was a drone strike and not an air raid from fighter jets.

Preliminary reports accounted for two martyrs and several wounded and underscored that an unexploded missile remains in the targeted apartment.

Moreover, across Lebanon, our correspondent also mentioned that five airstrikes targeted the vicinity of Hermel in northeastern Lebanon.

In the south, Israeli aircraft struck the towns of al-Mansouri and al-Qlaileh in the Tyre district and al-Ghazzieh in the East Saida area.

Additionally, Al Mayadeen's correspondent denied reports circulating about an attempted Israeli landing south of the city of Tyre.
