Israeli airstrike on Nabatieh Municipality kills 16, including mayor
Al Mayadeen's correspondent says Israeli occupation forces carpet-bombed the vicinity of the city of Nabatieh, targeting residential buildings and several sites.
Sixteen people were killed and 52 were wounded Wednesday following Israeli airstrikes on the Nabatieh Municipality and the Municipalities Union buildings, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon reported, as "Israel" continues to target civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Israeli occupation forces carpet-bombed the vicinity of the city of Nabatieh, targeting residential buildings and several sites, our correspondent indicated.
"The Israeli enemy strike... on two buildings, that of the Nabatiyeh municipality and the Municipalities Union, killed five people," the Lebanese Health Ministry also announced in a statement.

Our correspondent confirmed the martyrdom of the Mayor of Nabatieh, Ahmad Kahil, one of the municipality's members, and three civilians as a result of the Israeli airstrike.
More than seven additional airstrikes launched in region
Nabatieh Governor Howaida Turk told Al Mayadeen that the administrative team targeted in the Israeli strike had remained at the municipality building, providing services as part of the crisis management effort amid the ongoing Israeli aggression across Lebanon.
She pointed out that the damage inflicted on the buildings as a result of the Israeli assault was extremely severe.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency, the Israeli occupation launched more than seven Israeli airstrikes on the neighborhoods of al-Deir, al-Aqida, and al-Ruwais in the Nabatieh al-Tahta area.
The Israeli occupation forces also carried out a new airstrike on the town of Habboush in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, the towns of Ayta al-Shaab, Hanin, al-Taybeh, Tal al-Owaida, and al-Qlaileh were targeted by Israeli airstrikes.
Civilian death toll still climbing
The Operations Center announced on Tuesday that the death toll since October of last year has reached 2,350 martyrs, with 10,906 injured.
The newest figures also bring the overall death toll since "Israel" launched an intense aggression on Lebanon on September 23 to 1,356 martyrs.
The Israeli occupation launched Wednesday morning two airstrikes on the Southern Suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

Our correspondent indicated that the Israeli occupation targeted a building in the Shoura area of Haret Hreik.
