The Israeli occupation has intensified its military aggression on southern Lebanon with a series of airstrikes and opening fire across multiple towns and villages, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in South Lebanon.
Israeli forces opened fire on Lebanese army soldiers in the town of Meiss El Jabal, directly targeting official military personnel. This marks a significant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty.
Simultaneously, Israeli warplanes carried out multiple airstrikes on areas across southern Lebanon, including al-Qotrani, al-Mahmoudiyah, and the outskirts of the town of al-Ayshiyah. Additional raids targeted the heights of al-Reyhan, Toumat Niha, and the outskirts of Wadi Barghouz, all located in the Nabatieh Governorate.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone strike hit the town of Barashit. According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, the strike targeted a motorcycle and resulted in the martyrdom of one Lebanese and the injury of another.
Israeli drone strike kills two
Two people were killed and several others injured following an Israeli airstrike on the town of Kfarjoz in southern Lebanon, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent confirmed early Thursday.
Our correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation targeted a motorcycle in Kfarjoz, located in the Nabatieh region, with a drone strike.
Despite a ceasefire agreement that began on November 27 and ended more than two months of all-out Israeli war on Lebanon, "Israel" continues near-daily military strikes inside Lebanese territory and maintains an occupation of five points along the Blue Line, which it deems “strategic”.
