The Israeli occupation forces announced Monday the death of a 19-year-old soldier in the southern Gaza Strip as the battles in the region became fiercer over the past few days.

An Israeli occupation forces spokesperson announced that Sargeant Omer Ginzburg of the Paratroopers Brigade's 101st Battalion was killed in action in southern Gaza on Sunday.

Palestinian Resistance factions conducted a series of operations on the 310th day of the Israeli war on Gaza, dealing casualties among Israeli occupation forces in the besieged territory.

Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades confronted occupation forces in Rafah, the southernmost city of the Gaza Strip, and executed a series of attacks.

al-Qassam fighters fired a locally produced tandem rocket-propelled grenade (RPG), al-Yassin, at an Israeli armored personnel carrier (APC) in the Zalata area in eastern Rafah.

The fighters also targeted an Israeli force that garrisoned itself in a building in the western neighborhood of Tal al-Sultan, firing a thermobaric RPG shell at the building, killing and injuring those inside it.

Al-Qassam fighters also monitored the movement of an Israeli military rescue helicopter evacuating the Israeli casualties from the targeted area in western Rafah.

The Resistance faction also revealed that its fighters detonated a high-explosive improvised explosive device, planted in the ground at a previous time, targeting an Israeli infantry force to the east of Rafah.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) al-Quds Brigades and al-Qassam Brigades fighters were able to locate and snipe at an Israeli occupation soldier in the al-Zannah neighborhood to the east of Khan Younis.

The Resistance fighters used a locally-produced anti-material Ghoul sniper rifle to conduct the operation, fatally wounding him.

The al-Quds Brigades mortar units launched several fierce attacks on Israeli occupation forces in northeastern Khan Younis.
