Israeli army faces threat of disintegration: Israeli think tank
The Israeli National Security Research Institute warns that internal developments within "Israel" could come in the face of increasing threats from multiple fronts.
The Israeli National Security Research Institute warned that the Israeli occupation army is facing the imminent threat of disintegration, as it heads towards a reality that puts the regional deterrence equation at risk. The institute stated that internal developments within "Israel" come in the face of increasing threats from multiple fronts.
The institute called on the Israeli government to immediately halt the judicial amendments that sparked protests in "Israel" and led to chaos even within the military establishment.
The former head of Israeli Military Intelligence, Amos Yadlin, accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of jeopardizing Israeli security with what he called a "judicial coup" in his amendments.
Former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army's Ground Forces, Reserves General Guy Tzur, previously stated that the greatest problem facing "Israel" is the social fabric that is unraveling, including within the Israeli army.
Rampant crisis in the Israeli military
Recently, hundreds of reservists from field units, most of them from infantry brigades and special units like "Shaldag" and "Shayetet," announced that they will sign a document refusing to volunteer for reserve service.
Additionally, 161 senior officers of the Israeli Air Force announced their refusal to volunteer for reserve service, after Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi previously stated that those who call for non-compliance with military service harm the Israeli army and "state" security.
Following the announcement of non-compliance by senior Air Force commanders, the Air Force Commander, Tomer Bar, addressed the leaders in an unusual manner, demanding that reservists be called up for duty.
Chief of Staff of the IOF, Hezi Halevy, warned on Saturday that within the 48-territories the proficiency of the armed forces would start deteriorating, Israeli media reported.
Earlier this month, 350 pilots in the Israeli Air Force met and seriously discussed the possibility of refusing to volunteer for reserve duty, raising concerns within the Israeli military establishment about the loss of security and deterrence.
It is worth mentioning that the movement of non-compliance within the Israeli military establishment is increasing the level of concern associated with the loss of security and deterrence.
This is happening as upheaval and chaos took the Israeli occupation entity by storm. Violent clashes erupted between the opposition and police, as Israeli settlers protest against the government’s judicial reforms. Appeals for civil disobedience and riots have been met with stern warnings from both sides, as political rifts are widening and warning against the outbreak of a “civil war”.
