Israeli assassination of al-Arouri 'outright terrorist act': Haniyeh
The head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, stresses that the Israeli occupation, whom he called "nazi", bears responsibility for this heinous aggression.
The head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, mourned on Tuesday Resistance leader and national figure, Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri, and al-Qassam Brigades leaders Samir Fandi and Azzam al-Aqra, along with a group of martyrs, following a "cowardly Israeli aggression" on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
In a press release, Haniyeh said the Israeli occupation's assassination of al-Aarouri and his companions is an "outright terrorist act and a violation of Lebanon's sovereignty," as well as an expansion of the Israeli aggression.

He stressed that the Israeli occupation, whom he described as "Nazi", bears full responsibility for this heinous aggression.
The Hamas chief emphasized that martyr al-Arouri worked in all fields and arenas for the sake of Palestine, al-Quds, and the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque.
Elsewhere, Haniyeh underlined that a movement that sacrifices its leaders and founders as martyrs will never be defeated; instead, any such attacks only strengthen it and provide it with resilience and an unyielding determination.
"The pure blood of Sheikh al-Arouri and his brethren has merged with the blood of tens of thousands of martyrs from our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank," Hamas movement said in a statement.
Al-Arouri was martyred on Tuesday evening in an Israeli attack that targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported that "an Israeli drone targeted an office of the Hamas movement in Msharafieh" while "ambulances reached the area to transport casualties."
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, mourned the "great national leader," Saleh al-Arouri, who commanded the Resistance in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip and was the "architect" of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The late martyr and leader had previously discussed in an interview for Al Mayadeen increasing Israeli death threats against him. When asked about the issue, martyr al-Arouri said, "The Israeli threat against me will not change my convictions, and it will not have an impact on the path [that I have chosen]."

Palestinian Resistance factions condemned the Israeli assassination of al-Arouri, declaring that this crime will not break the Resistance's will to fight the occupation.
