Israeli Channel 14 demands Gallant renew ban on Al Mayadeen
It wasn’t merely an interview; it became an event during which "Israel's" Channel 14 incited against Al Mayadeen Media Network, calling for the security minister to renew our channel's ban in occupied Palestine.
Israeli Channel 14 prepared a report on Al Mayadeen, in which it expressed its fear of our channel’s media activity in the West Bank, inciting the renewal of its ban, and expressing its particular displeasure with the meeting with the commander of the Tulkarm Battalion in the al-Quds Brigades, Abu Shujaa.
The far-right channel didn’t stop at mere incitement; it went further by demanding that Israeli Minister of Security Yoav Gallant issue the ban. Gallant, however, is already grappling with numerous complications and challenges, primarily the ongoing resistance his “army” faces in the Gaza Strip, the continued military operations on various fronts—especially in the north—and the mounting problems plaguing his exhausted forces after nearly 11 months of war.
The channel’s Saturday evening report covered the assassination by the army and "Shabak" of Qassam Brigades leaders Raafat Badawa and Ahmed Abu Ara through a drone strike targeting a car in Jenin, in the northern West Bank.
In light of the Israeli military directive against the Resistance and the assassination operations targeting them in the West Bank - where the majority of operations against the occupation are taking place - an event that occurred just two days before the assassination infuriated the Israeli channel.
Al Mayadeen interviews Abu Shujaa
Last week, on August 16, Al Mayadeen interviewed the commander of the Tulkarm Brigade within al-Quds Brigades, Mohammad Jaber "Abu Shujaa", the Israeli occupation's most wanted individual in the occupied West Bank.
Abu Shujaa insisted his first media interview be with Al Mayadeen, despite "Israel" and its apparatus' pursuit of him.
He kickstarted his interview with a discussion on the integration of the Resistance in the West Bank in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood, alongside the heroes of Gaza.
Abu Shujaa addressed the people of Gaza, extending solidarity and relaying the inspiration and lessons they [Palestinians/fighters in the West Bank] have learned from them, praising their heroism, and asking for a Godly reward to be bestowed upon them.
Israeli government renews ban on Al Mayadeen
The Israeli occupation government approved on August 11 a proposal by Minister of Communications Shlomo Karhi to renew the ban on the Al Mayadeen media network. The decision includes the seizing of its equipment and the blocking of its websites.
Israeli media reported that the communications minister pursued a new government decision after obtaining a "professional opinion" from security agencies and receiving approval from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
