An Israeli drone strike targeted a car in al-Naqoura, southern Lebanon, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported on Saturday morning.

The Israeli attack resulted in the martyrdom of several individuals, though no information has been revealed about who they might be thus far.

After news of the possible assassination came out, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that it carried out a drone attack on the command center in the settlement of "Liman" in western al-Jalil.

A similar attack was seen on Friday, as Hezbollah attacked a group of Israeli occupation troops with a suicide drone, the Military Media announced in a statement.

Israeli airstrikes and drone strikes on southern Lebanon have been commonplace for months now as the Israeli occupation continues deliberately target civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported Thursday the martyrdom of a man and his wife in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Kafra.

The correspondent also mentioned that several Lebanese citizens were injured in Israeli attacks on the town of Siddiqin, emphasizing that Israeli artillery shelling lasted for more than two hours on the town of Houla and its surroundings.

1,000 ATGMs fired from Lebanon

The Israeli occupation has been coming under heavy fire from the Lebanese Resistance, with Israeli military researcher Or Fialkov revealing on Wednesday that Hezbollah has launched approximately 1,000 anti-tank guided missiles at Israeli positions.

Fialkov highlighted that Hezbollah's targets extended from Ras al-Naqoura to "Mount Hermon", striking military sites along the entire border. He noted that the attacks were carried out using a diverse array of anti-tank missiles, covering nearly all frontline positions of the Israeli army.

Fialkov emphasized the transformation of the conflict from sporadic strikes every few days to a sustained daily barrage on Israeli military sites and headquarters. Notable among the targeted sites are the headquarters of the 769th Territorial Brigade and Camp "Yoav" base in the Golan Heights, the "Nafah" Camp affiliated with the 1st "Golani" Brigade, the "Meron" Air Traffic Control Base, the Northern Command Headquarters in Safad, along with numerous other Israeli locations.

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has been launching near-daily operations on Israeli military sites and positions, stemming from its unwavering support for the Palestinian people. The group has also responded to multiple Israeli attacks against Lebanese citizens and continues to work to liberate the remaining Israeli-occupied Lebanese territories near the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
