Israeli failure in Lebanon a victory for the entire Ummah: Al-Houthi
The leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah congratulates Lebanon on its victory, asserting that the Ummah now must focus its support on Gaza.
The Israeli occupation entity has failed to achieve its lofty objectives in Lebanon, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement, pointed out Thursday, describing Lebanon's victory against an aggression supported by the United States as "historic" and "highly significant".
In his speech, which began with a quote from the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah—"The era of defeats has ended, and the era of victories has begun"—Sayyed al-Houthi attributed Lebanon's victory to the steadfast efforts of its resilient fighters and popular support.
He emphasized that the enemy's bets on undermining Hezbollah through its attacks were unsuccessful.
The Yemeni leader noted that the Israeli occupation faced failure and frustration as it was unable to achieve its goals, eliminate Hezbollah, or force it to abandon the path of resistance.
"Israel" also failed to bring about political changes in Lebanon due to Hezbollah's powerful retaliation, including missile strikes on Tel Aviv and Israeli military bases, he emphasized.
Sayyed al-Houthi further elaborated on "Israel's" failures in its ground operations and inability to achieve tangible results on the battlefield, despite extensive Western, particularly American, support.
'Israel's' failure a victory for the entire Ummah
The Ansar Allah leader highlighted the economic paralysis suffered by northern "Israel" due to Hezbollah's operations and the heavy costs incurred by the occupation, which have led to a state of despair.
He warned of the ongoing Israeli threat to Lebanon and the region, fueled by US provocations, while asserting that Hezbollah remains robust, with significant capabilities that have inflicted substantial losses on the Israeli occupation.
The Lebanese internal front, he added, demonstrated cohesion and widespread popular support, thwarting the enemy's objectives and underscoring the possibility of defeating the occupation.
Sayyed al-Houthi described "Israel's" failure as a victory for the entire Ummah, shielding it from further dangers, while raising concerns for the occupation regarding Lebanon's strong resistance.
Had "Israel" succeeded in its objectives, it would have leveraged the situation across the region, exploiting the fragile and weak Arab state of affairs to eliminate key forces within the Axis of Resistance, the Yemeni leader pointed out.
He congratulated Lebanon on its victory, asserting that the Ummah now must focus its support on Gaza. He also expressed regret over the lack of substantial Arab stances or practical measures to aid Gaza, contrasting this with the actions of some Islamic states.
Yemeni operations, regional resistance
Discussing Yemen’s role, Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted the escalation of the operations of the Yemeni Armed Forces, asserting their control over Israeli maritime activity in the Red Sea. He also revealed that "Israel" had been forced to reroute its maritime navigation, incurring significant economic costs.
He confirmed that ongoing operations using missiles and drone attacks in support of the Palestinian people targeted Israeli sites, including Asqalan, the Nivatim Airbase in al-Naqab, and Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) in the past week, underscoring the continuous development of Yemen's military capabilities to escalate resistance further.
Turning to Iraq, Sayyed al-Houthi called for greater efforts on this crucial front, highlighting its strong and significant role in the Axis of Resistance. He warned that the US is exerting political pressure to weaken Iraq's position and diminish its impact.
A call to action for Gaza
The Ansar Allah leader stressed the importance of supporting Gaza amid its immense suffering. He praised the Palestinian Resistance for continuing their operations under dire circumstances and unprecedented betrayal, emphasizing that the responsibility to aid Gaza extends beyond the Axis of Resistance to the entire nation.
He warned that abandoning this responsibility equates to complicity in the genocide being committed against Gaza.
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the international community's indifference, which has emboldened the occupation to escalate its crimes and extend its devastating policies across the Gaza Strip.
He affirmed that Resistance forces would not allow "Israel" to isolate Gaza, pledging readiness to confront the occupation in all arenas.
Commenting on the International Criminal Court's ruling against Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Yemeni leader described it as "long overdue", arguing that such a ruling should have been issued as early as the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital massacre at the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
