Israeli forces demolish a home, fire rockets at another in West Bank
Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the West Bank, amid a continued aggression on the occupied territory.
Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the occupied West Bank, surrounding a home in Qalqilya before demolishing it, overnight on Thursday.
Occupation forces evacuated the area surrounding the family home of Palestinian martyr Jamal Abu Haniya in Qalqilya, before embedding it with explosives and destroying it.
In the town of Qafin, in the Tulkarm governorate, Israeli forces besieged a home and targeted it with shoulder-held rockets.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's (PIJ) military wing, al-Quds Brigades, announced that its fighters confronted Israeli forces in Qafin, firing their automatic weapons toward the invading forces and dealing casualties among them.
The West Bank has increased Israeli violence since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect. The Israeli regime has launched a large-scale military campaign, involving continuous aerial onslaughts, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, and raids.
Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 10 Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate. Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported on Wednesday evening that an Israeli strike hit a home in the town.
Palestinian Islamic and national forces in Tubas announced a general strike on Thursday, while the Palestinian Bar Association suspended work in all courts and prosecution offices following the horrific massacre.
