The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Saturday evening that a youth was killed by Israeli occupation forces near the town of Izzun Atma in Qalqilya, in the western center of the West Bank.

This occurred just hours after another Palestinian youth was killed by the occupation forces in Tulkarm, in the northern occupied West Bank.

The Ministry confirmed that Sabri Samer Ahmad, 23 years old, from the village of Izzun Atma, was shot while near the Israeli-built apartheid wall. He was transferred to Qalqilya Hospital, where his condition was described as critical before doctors announced his martyrdom.

Earlier, the al-Qassam Brigades mourned its Commander Islam Jamil Odeh from Tulkarm refugee camp, who was killed by Israeli gunfire in the al-Salam neighborhood in Tulkarm.

Odeh, a leader of the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, was martyred on Saturday in the Tulkarm camp after invading Israeli forces surrounded a building and engaged in hours of confrontations in the al-Salam neighborhood.

This comes shortly after the al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters targeted Israeli occupation forces in the al-Salam neighborhood and at the entrance to the Tulkarm refugee camp with heavy gunfire.

On their part, the resistance fighters of the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, engaged in fierce battles with the invading occupation forces in the al-Salam Neighborhood.

"Our forces are raining down heavy fire on the infantry units surrounding the besieged house," the Brigades said.

The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades also noted that its fighters engaged in intense confrontations with the IOF around the besieged house using automatic weapons.

The Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank early Saturday morning, advancing with several vehicles toward Nablus Street, adjacent to the Nur Shams camp.
