Israeli forces kill Palestinian teen during Nablus raid
Sultan Abdul Rahman Khatatbeh, 16, has been killed by Israeli gunfire in the northern West Bank town of Beit Furik.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank. This came shortly after an Israeli army official confirmed that the IOF had opened fire during a raid on Nablus.
Sultan Abdul Rahman Khatatbeh, 16, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the northern West Bank town of Beit Furik, according to a statement the ministry posted on Facebook.
The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that two other Palestinians were injured when IOF raided the town, east of Nablus, and fired live bullets at Palestinians.
An Israeli military official said as quoted by AFP that troops were operating in the Nablus area when "dozens of suspects hurled rocks at Israeli security forces, who responded with riot dispersal means and live fire."
"Hits were identified," the official added, without providing further details.
Israeli forces storm Beita, other towns in West Bank
Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, amid reports that a number of arrests were made.
Israeli occupation forces raided several areas across the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, amid attacks and arrests at dawn on Saturday.
Activists, citing internal sources, reported that the Resistance factions are confronting the incursions by the Israeli army, as fighters opened fire on the occupation forces in Haifa Street in the city of Jenin, while others engaged in fierce confrontations in the town of Kafr Dan, west of the city.
Moreover, sirens sounded at the Salem checkpoint, near Jenin, after the Resistance fighters targeted it.
In detail, the al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade announced that its fighters confronted the occupation forces storming the town of Kafr Dan, with heavy salvos of bullets and explosive devices.
Confrontations also broke out between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, where occupation forces stormed several homes.
Israeli occupation forces also stormed the city of Dura, south of al-Khalil, the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, the al-Masayef neighborhood, the town of Umm Safa in Ramallah, the town of Jayyus, north of Qalqilya, and the town of al-Issawiya in occupied al-Quds.
Israeli media reported on Friday that an Israeli soldier was injured in a ramming operation, near the village of Rantis, west of Ramallah, in the West Bank.
The occupation army acknowledged, in a statement, that the soldier was injured without mentioning the severity of his injury, indicating that it is pursuing the car and that the relevant authorities are examining the details of the incident.
It is worth noting that Israeli violence intensified, resulting in the killing of at least 546 Palestinians and the detention of at least 9,170 Palestinians from the West Bank since the start of the genocide on Gaza on October 7.
