The Hamas Movement mourned the martyrs of the Tulkarm refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, especially the Resistance commanders who were killed on Tuesday morning by an Israeli drone strike on the camp during a wide-scale Israeli aggression there.

An Israeli drone strike on the Tulkarm refugee camp killed on Tuesday morning five Palestinians, including three Resistance commanders, along with a mother and her daughter,

Hamas mentioned that the Israeli assassination targeted the commander of the al-Qassam Brigades in the Tulkarm camp, Ashraf Nafi’, along with commanders in the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, Mohammad Awad and Mohammad Badi'.

The movement emphasized that these assassinations would not break the Resistance’s resolve and would only strengthen the Palestinian people’s determination to continue their path of defiance and confrontation against the Israeli occupation.

It added that the occupation’s crimes and assassinations in the occupied West Bank would not halt the escalating resistance acts.

Similarly, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement mourned the martyrs in Tulkarm, affirming that the assassinations carried out by the occupation using a drone reflect its "terrorist nature and its thirst for Palestinian blood and committing more crimes against our people."

The PIJ stressed that the Israeli Security Minister's decision to use drones and aircraft during operations against the cities and camps in the occupied West Bank would not protect settlers nor prevent the Palestinian people from responding to Israeli crimes and avenging their martyrs.

On its part, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades mourned its commanders and the al-Qassam Brigades' commander, stressing that it "will remain steadfast on the path of revolution and resistance until liberation and return."

In the same context, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Tulkarm said its fighters engaged in fierce confrontations with the invading occupation forces in several areas of the Tulkarm refugee camp.

Moreover, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), in Tulkarm confirmed that its fighters targeted Israeli military vehicles in the city with several explosive devices and engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces in several areas.

The al-Asifa Forces in Tulkarm also said that its fighters targeted the raiding occupation forces in the city and camp with an "Asef" explosive device, causing direct hits.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces demolished the house of martyr Ashraf Nafi’ during their aggression on the Tulkarm refugee camp amid extensive military helicopter flights and a significant presence of snipers.

Our correspondent cited a Palestinian man as saying that his daughter remains under the rubble due to the Israeli bombardment that targeted Tulkarm and that the occupation’s bulldozer was used to desecrate the bodies of the martyrs and transport them outside the camp.

According to our correspondent, the Israeli bulldozing operations caused extensive destruction from the Nur Shams refugee camp up to the Tulkarm camp.

Two settlers wounded in Gilboa

In a related context, Israeli media reported that two settlers working for the Israeli Security Ministry were wounded in an IED explosion while they were patrolling in the Gilboa area near the Israeli-erected fence separating the occupied West Bank and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.

Earlier, groups of Israeli settlers stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied al-Quds under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Additionally, the occupation authorities forced Palestinian Khalil Kabaja to demolish his two-story house in the town of al-Tur, south of al-Quds. The occupation also demolished homes in the al-Sal’a neighborhood in Jabal al-Mukaber and in the Wadi Qudum area in Silwan, where they also demolished a storage facility.

Elsewhere, the occupation forces demolished part of a house in the city of al-Lydd in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
