Israeli guard injured in stabbing operation in al-Quds: Israeli media
The Israeli occupation police say a 19-year-old Palestinian who allegedly carried out the operation was shot by another security guard.
An Israeli security guard was "lightly wounded" in an alleged stabbing operation at the "Giv’at Hamivtar" light rail station in occupied al-Quds, Israeli media reported on Thursday night citing Israeli occupation police.
The occupation police said a 19-year-old Palestinian who allegedly carried out the operation, identified as Daoud Atiya, was shot by another security guard, adding that he was in serious condition and transferred to a hospital.
"The suspect was neutralized by shooting and a large police force presence under the command of the commander of the Jerusalem district arrived at the location," an Israeli occupation police report confirmed.
