Israeli massacre in UN school in Gaza City kills at least 9
This marks the second Israeli attack on the same school within just a few days.
At least nine Palestinians were killed in yet another Israeli airstrike on a UN-operated school sheltering displaced civilians, west of Gaza City, on Sunday, Anadolu Agency reported, citing a medical source.
The Israeli strike, which hit Asmaa School—managed by the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in the al-Shati refugee camp—also left 20 others injured, with the toll expected to rise.

This marked the second attack on the same school within just a few days. An earlier airstrike on October 19 had already killed at least 10 people and injured several others.
The Israeli occupation military has consistently targeted civilian infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and places of worship, during its ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.
According to the Gaza Civil Defense agency, rescuers are actively searching for more victims under the debris. The agency confirmed that six bodies have been identified, including that of a girl.
Among the eight martyrs, three journalists and a child ascended to martyrdom in the Asmaa School massacre today, where displaced people were staying. Just a week ago, seven martyrs ascended in the same school.

Paramedic Hussein Mohsen noted that the displaced individuals taking refuge at the school had fled from Jabalia and other areas in northern Gaza, where the Israeli occupation military has imposed a tight siege and carried out massacres since early October.
"This is not the first time that the Israeli occupation has targeted schools," Mohsen pointed out.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike on a residential area in Beit Lahia killed 40 Palestinians and injured more than 80 others, the Gaza Health Ministry reported earlier.
The Ministry announced on Saturday that the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on the besieged Strip has risen to 42,924 martyrs, in addition to 100,833 injured.
