Israeli massacres in Gaza ongoing, Palestinian martyrs exceed 6,000
The relentless thunder of Israeli artillery and the haunting roar of warplanes continue to tear through Gaza's skies, killing over 6,000 Palestinians and leaving 20,000 wounded.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continues for the 19th consecutive day, with ongoing artillery and aerial bombardments, mainly targeting residential homes.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that nearly a hundred martyrs had fallen in the past few hours following non-stop brutal Israeli airstrikes.
Israeli warplanes struck multiple homes in the Shati' refugee camp in Gaza City and the Jabaliya refugee camp. Moreover, they launched more than 15 intense airstrikes in various locations within Rafah city in the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent stated that the number of Palestinians martyred by the aggression exceeded 6,000, with around 20,000 wounded, amid catastrophic health conditions.
Media sources reported that the Israeli occupation demolished a mosque on Jalaa Street in Gaza City. In further detail, Al Mayadeen's correspondent noted that the occupation has destroyed more than 40 mosques, in addition to a church, in its ongoing aggression on Gaza.
It is also worth noting that the Palestinian Ministry of Health has lately declared that the occupation had committed 47 massacres against Palestinian families in the past hours, resulting in 704 martyrs.

Additionally, the occupation destroyed the Salam Flour Mills with artillery shells east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
On the other hand, the head of the Government Media Office, Salama Maarouf, confirmed that the total number of displaced people has reached approximately 1.4 million, which represents 70% of the Gaza Strip's population. These displaced individuals are distributed across more than 222 shelter centers, including 100 centers within Gaza and its northern region.
He further revealed that over 183,000 housing units have been damaged as a result of the ongoing aggression, accounting for 50% of the residential units in the Gaza Strip. Additionally, more than 28,000 housing units have been completely demolished or rendered uninhabitable by the occupation. "Israel" has also destroyed 75 government buildings and numerous public and service facilities, causing extensive damage.
Palestinian Civil Defense: We will dig with our own hands to rescue people
The Director of Civil Defense in Northern Gaza, Ahmad al-Kahlout, stated that the debris removal operations are taking place under extremely challenging conditions. He pointed out that the retrieval of Palestinians and bodies from under the rubble has halted due to the lack of fuel for the only excavator in the province.
However, al-Kahlout emphasized that they would resort to manual digging to get people out if the machinery ceases due to the fuel shortage.

Reports have been coming out of the Gaza Strip, noting that people stuck under the rubble have been reaching out to their friends, family, and acquaintances, whenever possible, letting them know they're still alive under the rubble, what their circumstances are, and where they were when the strike hit. The goal is to ultimately guide all possible efforts for them to be rescued at a time when Gaza suffers from a major lack of equipment due to the ongoing siege forced on them by "Israel".
An image has been circulating on social media showing a series of messages between a girl under the rubble, and someone on the outside, saying:
"Ghaida, we are under the rubble
But I have my phone with me
No one came to get us out\And I have been screaming
I don't know if the rest of them are alive
I don't feel anything
But Layal is in my arms
There are only stones above me."
The person on the outside tried to respond to those messages, saying "Oh my Goodness!" but unfortunately a notification showed noting that "there was a problem while sending this message."
With thousands still under the rubble as the civil defense faces multiple challenges to carry out debris removal operations due to the Israeli siege, people in the Gaza Strip are afraid. They could be terrified knowing that their loved ones, who would have survived the genocidal Israeli strikes, could die under the rubble, because of the murderous policy implemented by the Israeli occupation government.
The genocidal policy against Palestinians coupled with the deafening silence from the international community that now proves to be complicit in the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians holds thousands of people in Gaza hostages of the debris that fell on their heads.
