Israeli media: 'Israel' disrupting negotiations with Hamas
An informed source told the Israeli Maariv newspaper that all Mossad claims pointing fingers toward Hamas for negotiation delays are false.
Israeli newspaper Maariv cited informed sources today, stating that Israeli intransigence is taking over the talks with the Palestinian Resistance in Cairo.
The sources further labeled the ideas being promoted by the Mossad, claiming that Hamas does not care about the captives' deal, as "false", stressing that "Israel" is the one disrupting the current negotiations.
Maariv also cited a senior Israeli security source as saying that as time passes, all negotiation purposes will cease as there will be no captives left.
After the failure of the most recent negotiation attempt, Israeli media revealed that during a session including both political and "security" echelons, the IOF requested to expand the negotiations and show more flexibility in all negotiations related to the captives deal.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other security chiefs, including the chiefs of Mossad and Shin Bet rejected this request, according to Israeli media.
'Israel' using manipulation in negotiations to gain time: Hamas
Hussam Badran, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau, announced on March 7 that the movement's delegation left Cairo to engage in further discussions with the movement's leadership.
Badran mentioned that the reason behind the stalled negotiations is the insistence of the Israeli occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on maintaining his position and his attempt to manipulate the negotiations to gain more time.
Addressing Sputnik, Badran explained that Netanyahu has rejected a ceasefire due to disagreements on several points. According to Badran, "There are no positive responses regarding the [Israeli occupation forces'] withdrawal from Gaza, no guarantees for the entry of aid or reconstruction, not to mention the main issue which is related to the return of refugees to their homes, especially in northern Gaza."
Abu Obeida: No compromise on main demands, Ramadan a month of Jihad
The ongoing Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood "establishes a new phase not only in Gaza and Palestine but on a global level," as it promotes the fact that "justice is only secured through force," the military spokesperson for Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades Abu Obeida stated in a crucial broadcast address on March 8.
Five months into Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Abu Obeida brought clarity to several key issues, including ongoing mediated talks between the Palestinian Resistance and "Israel", as well as the operational situation of the Palestinian Resistance and the condition of Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip.
"This savage war against our people enters its sixth month, with the criminal enemy persisting in perpetrating a true Nazi holocaust against our people – involving the killings, starvation, intensification of oppression, destruction, and disdain for all international laws and feeble systems that stand powerless against the occupying entity, which is stripped of any human values," Abu Obeida stated.
Abu Obeida's speech highlighted the futility of diplomacy and legal pathways through international law or the decisions of the United Nations Security Council in achieving a ceasefire and the rights of the Palestinian people.
Instead, the spokesperson pushed for continued confrontations and expanded mobilization in the month of Ramadan, in the West Bank, occupied '48 territories, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and other Islamic and Arab nations to end the genocide against the Palestinian people.
