Israeli Media: 'Israel' only has weeks in Gaza despite needing months
"Israel's" Haaretz reports that the Israeli occupation government remains incapable of achieving a decisive military victory on the ground.
Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces have hinted toward "months of war" in reference to the possibility of extending the ground invasion in the Gaza Strip, as they remain incapable of achieving a decisive military victory on the ground.
The newspaper added that the United States has sent multiple signals, noting that "Israel" would only have "weeks" in the Strip despite the fact that Hamas remains "far from being defeated."
In a similar context, Maariv also noted that the continued presence of the elite Hezbollah unit, Radwan, at the northern border of occupied Palestine meant that Israeli settlers situated in settlements along the border would not return to their homes.

Hamas very far from defeat
The newspaper further revealed the suffering of the IOF, which "suffers losses when Hamas conducts a flanking maneuver."
In turn, the Israeli occupation General Staff was quoted saying that the area of operation of the IOF "is the most densely populated area in which such operations are ever conducted."
Regarding the determinants of victory, and how it can be achieved, the newspaper stated that victory meant that "one party ceases to perform its functions, either through announced surrender or due to the collapse of its formations,” noting that “Hamas is far from that, very far."

Biden's endless patience with Netanyahu
Maariv moreover wrote that the occupation leadership is making a major mistake by assuming that the Resistance's command would surrender or be discouraged in the face of pressure, citing past announcements by Israeli government officials about deterring the Resistance following each attack.
The performance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was also criticized by Maariv, for failing to show any kind of sympathy for "the suffering of affected citizens, as he continues to unleash a barrage of empty, useless clichés at them."
Meanwhile, the newspaper praised what US President Joe Biden offered "Israel", saying, "He deserves an additional medal from the Jewish people, not only for the military aid he provided Israel immediately after the disaster, but also for the endless patience he is now showing toward Netanyahu’s deception."
It quoted a senior Israeli officer who has "been wearing a military uniform for more than 35 years," saying, "October 7, we failed. ..This is not an easy matter to recover from."
