Israeli media: Ban on Al Mayadeen is only symbolic
Israeli media reports that Al Mayadeen is still accessible within occupied Palestine through YouTube.
In a recent development, Israeli media reported that the occupation's court's decision to place a ban on Al Mayadeen websites, as announced by Israeli Minister of Communications Shlomo Karhi, is only symbolic.
Israeli media further added that the request for the ban which was presented to the court falls within the framework of recently formulated emergency regulations.
Despite the court's approval, the channel's live stream remains accessible on YouTube, and video clips of the channel are still available on social media networks. Additionally, any user within the occupied territories can easily bypass the block with a single click.

Israeli ban v Google settings
Earlier today, the Israeli website The Marker highlighted the ineffectiveness of the Israeli occupation's decision to ban and shut down Al Mayadeen Media Network.
As per The Marker, the ban order can be easily overcome with a simple button click, enabling settlers to effortlessly access and browse Al Mayadeen's websites.
In accordance with the emergency regulations approved by the government, the Israeli political and security cabinet agreed to take measures against #AlMayadeen Media Network.

The report explained that similar to other bans, shutting down Al Mayadeen's websites in "Israel" relies on the DNS system, and it can be bypassed by changing DNS settings.
It emphasized that "Israel" needs to recognize the inefficacy of its decision since Israelis can press the "Chrome" button to bypass any electronic ban if they choose to do so.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network Ghassan Ben Jeddou revealed the intricacies of the decision-making process behind the news network's approach to the coverage of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
Ben Jeddou confirmed that "Israel's" decision to ban Al Mayadeen "was not a technical decision. It was not even a political decision. In fact, it was a military decision related to the national security of Israel."

Ben Jeddou highlighted the remarks of Israeli Security Minister, Yoav Gallant, who categorized Al Mayadeen as a "grave threat to Israeli security."
