Israeli media: Iranian ballistic missile crosses 1,200 km in first
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps launched a ballistic missile, which an Israeli pundit noted had crossed 1200 km in an unprecedented operation.
"Israel's" Kan TV correspondent commented on Iran's ballistic missile launch that targeted northwestern Syria saying the missiles "covered a distance of 1,200 km."
Elsewhere, the correspondent noted that this was "an unprecedented event," while Israeli media stated that this was the first time that an Iran-launched missile covered such a great distance.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps in Iran announced it targeted "the headquarters of terrorist groups in the region with ballistic missiles." According to the IRGC statement, the attack came in response to "the terrorist crimes recently committed by Iran’s enemies."
The statement specified that its target included "gatherings of terrorists linked to the terrorist operations carried out in Iran recently."
In a subsequent statement, the Revolution Guard confirmed that it had targeted "one of the main headquarters of the Israeli Mossad in the Kurdistan region of Iraq." This action was stated to be a response to the Israeli occupation entity's assassination of leaders within the Revolution Guard and the Axis of Resistance.

'Israel' assassinated Mousavi out of its impotence: Vahidi - Exclusive
Iran's Minister of Interior, Ahmad Vahidi, confirmed to Al Mayadeen on December 30 that IRGC military advisor Brigadier General Seyyed Razi Mousavi, who was assassinated by an Israeli airstrike on Syria, was on an official mission and was brutally targeted in broad daylight.
Vahidi considered that "Israel's" assassination of martyr Mousavi is the result of the desperation and impotence that it is experiencing, highlighting the Israeli occupation's disregard for any international laws or ethical principles.
Vahidi stressed that "the blood of Palestinian martyrs and the blood of martyr Razi will undoubtedly uproot the [Israeli] occupation entity," adding that the path that martyr Mousavi treaded will persist, the way the path of General Qassem Soleimani continued after his martyrdom.
